So, I have finished my project at this point. Heres a step by step list of everything I did:
-I made flyers providing information about ADHD and how donations to the organization CHADD will help those affected by ADHD.
-I contacted various local stores to find out if I could leave collection jars and flyers in their stores. A few stores gave me permission for both, but many only allowed me to post flyers on their bulletin boards.
-I went door to door to collect money and handed out flyers to the donators.
-While doing door to door, I left flyers in the door handles at homes that were unresponsive.
-Additionally, I had tried to get clearance to set up a stand outside a local store to collect money and inform the community about ADHD one weekend, however they said I couldn’t do so.

Donations I collected for CHADD will help to provide support, education, community resources and information, ongoing research, and advocates for those affected by ADHD. In addition, by posting flyers in various places, I have created awareness about ADHD, informed the general public, and given people the opportunity to help on their own.

This project has taught me many things and in my opinion it was worth doing for numerous reasons.
